An Occupational Therapist has designed a numeracy curriculum and our Numeracy Programme is currently in a pilot phase at Lourier Primary School.
A Grade 2 learner was referred for counselling as her teacher was concerned about her absenteeism, she received 9 forty-minute sessions and showed a dramatic increase in every assessed areas; academics, relating to peers, emotional control, obeying instructions, manners, responding appropriately to stressors and fitting in.
